This collaboration aims to deliver cutting-edge 800G DR8 transceivers designed to meet the increasing demands of artificial intelligence (AI) and hyperscale data centers.

The innovative approach combines POET’s pioneering Infinity™ optical engines with Lessengers’ advanced Direct Optical Wiring (DOW) technology. Together, these technologies promise to create cost-efficient, high-performance transceivers capable of addressing the bandwidth and latency challenges of modern AI applications and massive-scale data centers. The transceivers are expected to be ready for customer evaluation in the latter half of 2025.
